Talya Bradford, LCPC

Owner/Therapist – Maryland License LC3182

Specialties – Eating Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Management

  • It is not my goal, nor my practice goal, to create clients for life.  We all go through rough spots, and my strategy is for us to provide you with the long-term tools you need to move forward with your life.

After eleven years in private practice, I found I was limited in the number of clients I could see on my own.  I started Bradford Counseling to increase the volume of people who can be helped.  I work with my staff to deliver the best in mental health services to those who are in need.

My specialty is caring for families and individuals seeking treatment for eating disorders of all kinds, and those struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, and more. This is accomplished using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and DBT, to name a few of the modalities I use.

As an Eating Disorder therapist, I subscribe to the idea of HAES (Health at Every Size) and focus on working towards developing healthy people.  I have been working with those troubled by eating disorders for over eleven years, and I see clients as young as ten years old.

A necessary part of eating disorder recovery is to have a strong outpatient team. We utilize a network of resources that join together, working towards long-term care and sustainability for our client’s recovery.  It’s essential to keep an open mind when it comes to treatment and to be willing to use all the tools we can provide, such as supportive readings, dieticians who specialize in treating eating disorders, and specialized support groups.

** I am not accepting new patients at this time **

Christina Daly, LCSW-C

Therapist – Maryland License 19942

Specialties – Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma-Informed Care

  • I've been a practicing community clinical social worker for the last 7 years. My experience has taken me into many diverse settings which has broadened my perspective. I truly believe that creating and fostering a healthy rapport with clients is the key to unlocking potential progress.

My core beliefs are structured around patient centered care as I have spent the majority of my clinical social work career in healthcare settings. When wrap-around care with a team of professionals is utilized well, the best outcomes are produced. That is the approach I will bring to you with your goals being at the forefront of my mind. I work with older adolescents and adults providing individual counseling via telehealth.

I prefer working in Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy treatment modalities. I will tailor my approach to fit your needs and make sure you are very much involved in the process. I am seeing clients via telehealth only.

William Willis, LCSW-C

Therapist – Maryland License 24338

Specialties – Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and LGBTQ +related issues

  • As a therapist, I strive to create a comfortable and non-judgmental atmosphere when working with my clients. I believe that each of us have a one-of-a-kind story to share and have the ability to live the story we want for our lives.

I’ve been practicing clinical social work for almost 3 years and have experience in varying settings which helps me to connect with individuals who come from different walks of life. Quality service begins with developing a solid therapeutic engagement and meeting the client where they are.

When working in therapy, I prefer to utilize cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and supportive therapy techniques. Ideally, I work to utilize an eclectic approach to specifically treat each client with the individual based on their unique needs.

I work with both adolescents and adults in individual therapy. I have experience with working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, bipolar, trauma, grief, and LGBTQ+ related issues. Currently, I provide telehealth services and in-person therapy at this time.

Sarah Payne, LCPC

Therapist – Maryland License LC11847

Specialties – Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Grief/Loss

  • I welcome clients who are in need of a safe environment to work with a straight-forward, no nonsense therapist who will listen with empathy but also provide you with long term solutions to use outside of therapy. I utilize behavior-based techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, to assist my clients in overcoming issues that may be holding them back in life.

I am a certified provider for CPT (cognitive processing therapy) and am well adept at working with many forms of PTSD. I also utilize mindfulness, narrative therapy, and bibliotherapy as parts of my overall eclectic approach.

Over the past 10 years I have enjoyed counseling young adults, adults and the geriatric population.

I am currently providing telehealth services only.

Therapist-Maryland License LGP13108

Specialities- Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, LGBTQIA+,Children, Adolescents and Adults

  • I do my best to make my therapy space as welcoming, warm, and inviting as possible. I believe we all have our own unique story nobody else can truly understand, but I do my best to get to know you and your story to help you understand what is going on, where it comes from, and how to overcome the barriers and challenges so you can be the best version of yourself possible. I work with my clients at their pace to accommodate their needs and comfortability, but I do not plan on seeing any of my clients for life. What you are able to learn with me will ideally be usable in the long run to help with any future challenges or barriers.

I have worked in the field for nearly 2 years and have experience in the field prior to my master’s degree. I have worked with children, teens, and adults, and I have worked with a variety of populations. I believe I can connect to others well, and this connection is the foundation of a good therapy experience.

In therapy, I tend to use an eclectic approach. This means I will use a variety of methods, and the main ones I use are cognitive-behavioral, narrative, motivational interviewing, person-centered, and play therapy. Having a variety of approaches allows me the opportunity to work with you, and overcome obstacles if one particular method does not work well enough.

I work with a variety of populations, and tend to work with adults more than other age ranges, but I have the most experience working with children. I have experience working with clients who have mood disorders like anxiety and depression, trauma, grief, are LGBTQIA+, and children with disabilities. I currently provide telehealth and in-person services.

I currently have openings for new patients.

Chelsea Turner, LCSW-C

Therapist– Maryland License 27422

Specialties – Eating Disorder, Co-occurring mood, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders

  • I work primarily with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families when indicated.

Realizing that your child is struggling with an eating disorder is such an unnerving and scary experience for a parent and it requires swift and urgent attention and the assembly of a strong outpatient team. Finding a provider who can offer support and connection is of the utmost importance when it comes to your child’s health and well being. My goal, as a clinician, is to partner with clients and families to promote a therapeutic relationship and sense of security that drives sustainable recovery.

I offer support and connection to clients and their families utilizing a variety of treatment modalities based on my assessment of the client’s specific presentation and unique needs, catering treatment to the individual. Some of these modalities include family-based therapy, emotion focused family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Our work together will be focused on generating motivation for change and enhancing life outside of the eating disorder. We’ll work at challenging food rules, ED and body image distortions, building out domains of self evaluation to promote self esteem, and bolstering access to more adaptive coping strategies to better manage mood symptoms and everyday stressors.

Specialties – Couples, Families, Individuals

  • What are we meant to do during our lives? How do we discover & create meaning? I believe we are meant to connect with others and that meaning is discovered & created through rich, well-bonded relationships. It is that belief that guides my clinical work.

As a psychotherapist with fifteen years of study and five years in active practice, I am sensitive to the relationship challenges we experience during our lives and skilled at identifying action steps to take to address those challenges. I recognize the value in exploring relationship dynamics & attachment insecurities, strengthening communication & emotion-regulation skills, reframing sources of conflict, and processing grief & loss.

My professional orientation is client-centered, trauma-informed, and emotionally-focused. I view therapy as both an opportunity to develop insight into yourself & your experiences and as a process to promote growth & change. I will use complementary therapeutic techniques (including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, emotionally-focused, and solution-focused interventions) to support your needs & goals.

Presently, I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families virtually and in-person.

In my couples work I specialize in attachment (Emotionally Focused Therapy) work, am Gottman-certified, and blend multiple modalities (Imago, Narrative, Solution-Focused therapies, etc.) in sessions to support couples. While there may be unifying themes to the challenges experienced by couples, every relationship is unique and the therapeutic interventions I choose reflect that uniqueness.
